During the filtering operation, the precipitation layer accumulated on the surface of the filtering material gradually thickens, and the pressure of the liquid passing through the precipitation layer increases, and the filtering rate decreases. When the filter chamber is flooded with sediment or the filtration rate is too long, the filtration is terminated, the sediment is eliminated, and the filtered material is rebuilt to realize a filtration cycle system.

The liquid passes through the precipitation layer and the filter substance to get rid of the frictional resistance, so there must be a pressure difference between the two sides of the filter substance, which is also the driving force for the completion of the filter. Increasing the pressure difference can speed up the filtering, but the particles deformed after being stressed are easy to block the porosity of the filtering medium when the pressure difference is large, and the filtering is slowed down.
